We're so excited to share our latest clothing collection. It's a true collaboration, created with the vision of two amazing women: Erica and Dee Dee. This collection is all about personal style, smart design, and the pure joy of feeling good in what you wear. We recently chatted with Erica and Dee Dee to find out what inspired them, how they designed these pieces, and how the collection shows off their unique styles.
The Idea Behind It All
What happens when two creative minds who love slow fashion and joyful dressing get together? Something special!
Erica told us what sparked her ideas: "I was inspired by strong, independent women, like writers such as Deborah Levy. It's really important to create beautiful things just for ourselves. I've also been thinking a lot about traveling alone or with just friends, which made me focus on making practical and versatile pieces."
Dee Dee added her thoughts: "I wanted to create a collection that shows my love for mixing prints and making pieces that go together easily and beautifully. Working with Erica was fantastic because we both believe in slow fashion and choosing clothes that make you happy and feel creative."
How We Designed It
Bringing a collection to life is always an adventure!
Dee Dee explained the design process: "It was a lot of back and forth, honestly! We shared pictures, created a Pinterest board, and looked for designs that worked well together to make complete outfits. It was so helpful that the WOC design team could quickly create mock-ups of our ideas. This allowed us to make changes almost instantly."
Erica focused on how wearable the clothes would be: "We spent a lot of time thinking about our favorite shapes and how we'd want to wear this collection with clothes we already own. We wanted every piece to feel like a natural part of your existing wardrobe."

It's always hard to pick favorites, but we asked anyway!
Dee Dee confessed: "It's so tough to choose, but I keep reaching for the Stitch and Stitch top; it's incredibly versatile. I think the Mary top and Alice’s top are close seconds, but I truly love every single piece in the collection."
Erica described the collection's feel: "This collection is bright and colorful, and the strong geometric patterns give it a lively feel. After a long winter, I wanted to feel energized, and these pieces definitely do that."
Dee Dee also mentioned: "The collection absolutely shows my interest in mixing prints and layering to create unique and wearable outfits. The patterns and colors work so beautifully together and are truly a joy to wear."
A Little About Them

Dee Dee shared how she got into being an influencer: "For me, it happened almost by accident. I had never even posted a selfie until a friend introduced me to slow fashion and some brands she loved. I found such a welcoming community, mostly women, who made me comfortable sharing my own unique style. I really enjoyed the creative process of putting outfits together and learning a bit about photography to make them interesting online."
When it comes to brands they love, Dee Dee listed: "WOC is definitely at the top of my list these days! But I've also been enjoying pieces from Plumo Studio, Namai Studio, Eka Co, Simply Merino, Sevilla Smith, and Slow Goods Studio. They all match my values for quality and unique design."
And their everyday styles?
Erica's timeless look: "My style has stayed pretty consistent over the years: a full skirt paired with a fitted top or an oversized button-down shirt is a classic look. You can easily find these types of pieces at a vintage shop or update the look by playing with different proportions."
Dee Dee's current obsession: "I’ve been really drawn to matching sets lately, with either comfy pants or shorts and oversized or cropped shirts, depending on the day. I love that they can be worn as separate pieces or together for a more put-together yet relaxed look."
Staying Inspired and Evolving Style
How do these creative people keep their ideas flowing?
Erica's favorite way: "Travel is my absolute favorite way to stay inspired. I love seeing how people dress and how they bring design into their lives. You also gain a fresh perspective by just going to another town or city – you don't even have to go far!"
Dee Dee finds inspiration in everyday fun: "I love going to live music and trying interesting food, which takes us all over New England for overnight or weekend trips. I'm always curious to see what people choose to wear to special events and how my favorite musicians express themselves through their personal style."
This collaboration has also really changed their individual styles. Erica shared: "Working with Dee Dee has completely changed how I think about patterns. I'm much more adventurous now about mixing different patterns together." Dee Dee noted: "Collaborating with Erica has helped me understand more about how practical outfits can be and how to put together capsule wardrobes for travel."
Wardrobe Must-Haves & Joyful Dressing
We asked them about the one item they can't live without.
Erica's essential: "I can't live without my sun hat. Growing up in Southern California, I learned early on how important sun protection is. I really don't feel like my outfit is complete without a hat."
Dee Dee agreed: "I'm a big hat and scarf person too! Especially in the summer for sun protection, and a lightweight scarf can be used for so many things. I also love a cozy hat and scarf for winter."
And how do they approach dressing for different occasions? Dee Dee's philosophy is simple: "It really depends on the weather, but of course, I always like to dress joyfully. I feel like it's a bit of my mission to encourage people to wear outfits they love and that stand out. Maybe by seeing me, they might feel brave enough to do the same for themselves."
